Ladder for High Ceilings
What is the best ladder for high ceilings? That depends on who you ask. As home inspectors we have had good luck with telescoping ladders. We have also had good luck with folding ladders like the Little Giant Ladders and their variations. The folding style ladders typically make better ladders for high ceilings because they can be used easier for indoor ladder use.
Indoor Ladder for High Ceiling?
Like mentioned before indoors presents challenges to ladder use. You have to worry about many factors but mostly what are you going to lean your ladder up against? You do not want to damage the paint or worse, damage the drywall. That is where the folding ladder really shines. You don’t have to worry about finding something to lean it on as it can set up in an A Frame shape and do the work for you! Those features make it the best indoor ladder for high ceilings.
Home Inspector Ladder
We have used the folding ladder style for decades on home inspections and doing siding inspections. It is a very nimble ladder that is lightweight and can get you where you need to go. It can easily be an indoor ladder or an outdoor ladder. The telescoping kind is relatively new and it can be a good choice as well. It is just not as versatile as the folding ladder that can take many shapes and sizes.
Whether it is ladder for work or a ladder for having around the house the folding ladder style has met our needs for decades
